The Details
Hello! Thanks for stopping by. The Secretary is on leave of absence this year for personal reasons but is planning on returning next year. Thanks for you interest, and we hope to see you back here in 2012!
Merry Christmas!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
Welcome to the Correspondence Office of the Jolly Old Elf, himself–Santa Claus, a.k.a., St. Nick. I am St. Nick’s Secretary, hereafter known as SNS, and I am so happy you are considering a letter from Santa for your child! The Big Guy is a little busy right now and has authorized me to oversee this part of the whole North Pole shebang.
Children love mail. That’s a given. But a letter from Santa? Well, that’s a treasure! And this isn’t just some form letter written for a mass mailing. Each letter is personalized with your child’s name and some unique references, specific to your child. Worried about siblings receiving the same letter? I’ve got it covered. I have a variety of letters and assure you that no two letters to the same home will be the same. Kids are smart and details matter. Nobody knows this better than Santa!
Here are the logistics:
1. Read through the letter descriptions.
2. Fill out the questionnaire. If you need to click back to pick a letter, any information you have entered will probably be lost. So, PLEASE read the letter descriptions before you fill out the questionnaire! Click the SUBMIT button. This sends your info to me.
3. This SUBMIT button immediately takes you to the payment site where you may either pay using credit cards or a PayPal account. (As a merchant, I do not have access to your account or credit card information. PayPal is secure–and a good thing.)
4. After payment has been sent, you may either head back to SNS (if you need to purchase another letter, click Back to Merchant button) or continue into the rest of cyberspace.
***The cost is $8 per letter.***
During the month of November, SNS will be very busy–reading questionnaires, customizing letters, and doing other North Pole business. The week after Thanksgiving, I will box up the letters that I have written and send them to our special helpers at the North Pole for an official postmark. Your child’s personalized letter from Santa will arrive within two weeks.
SNS will make one additional trip to the post office on or about December 10. Any later than that, and we cannot guarantee your child’s letter will arrive before Christmas! Of course, if the North Pole postmark is not essential to you, SNS will be happy to take orders up until December 17. Please let us know that by emailing us at stnickssecretary@gmail.com.
That is pretty much all there is to it. But if you have questions, SNS is not some huge mega-office. In fact, SNS is just one person. I will respond to emails as quickly as possible. Just drop me a line at:
stnickssecretary@gmail.com.
Thanks for the business and for the opportunity to bring a smile to a child. And as the Big Guy in red likes to say, “Merry Christmas to all!”
